A team of Wartburg College students took second place in the College Division at the Washburn University Leadership Challenge Event on March 3-4. The students also received the Emerging Leader Award, which honors the best performance of a collegiate team that has participated in the event for less than two years.

Wartburg Players will present "Suite Surrender," a comedy set in 1940s Hollywood, at 7:30 p.m. April 1 and 2 in the McCaskey Lyceum. Tickets are $10 at the door or free for students with a Wartburg ID.

The Wartburg students are among about 2,000 students from 117 colleges nationwide participating in the program. Caryn Riswold, McCoy Family Distinguished Chair in Lutheran Heritage and Mission, is leading the group.
