Five Wartburg College students were inducted into the Kappa Mu Epsilon mathematics honor society in April.

Andrew Buchheim, a political science and English major at Wartburg College, will present his research at the Richard Macksey National Undergraduate Humanities Research Symposium at Johns Hopkins University this month.

Andrew Ellison, a Wartburg College junior, was accepted into the college's Teacher Education Program.

Wartburg Players will present "Suite Surrender," a comedy set in 1940s Hollywood, at 7:30 p.m. April 1 and 2 in the McCaskey Lyceum. Tickets are $10 at the door or free for students with a Wartburg ID.

The ambassador program was funded by the Interfaith Youth Core to address vaccine hesitancy concerns across the country. The Wartburg students are among about 2,000 students from 117 colleges nationwide participating in the program. Caryn Riswold, McCoy Family Distinguished Chair in Lutheran Heritage and Mission, is leading the group.
