Mauricio Leon graduates from Wartburg College

Wartburg College awarded diplomas to 298 graduates at its Commencement ceremony May 24.

Mauricio Leon of Santa Ana graduated Cum Laude with a degree in biology and environmental science & studies. He is the son of Victor and Patricia Leon.

Another 41 students are expected to graduate in August. Thirty-six members of the Class of 2015 graduated in December.

Wartburg College is a selective liberal arts college of the Lutheran church (ELCA), nationally recognized for community engagement. This year's enrollment totaled 1,661 students from 27 U.S. states and 69 countries.
