Jessica Donahue earns honors at regional speech, debate tournament

The Wartburg Knights speech and debate team earned several honors, including two tournament championships, at the Icebox Classic Tournament in St. Cloud, Minn.

Senior Jessica Donahue was named the tournament champion in Persuasion, while senior Andrew Tubbs earned top honors in After-Dinner Speaking and secured a spot in the American Forensic Association's National Individual Events Tournament, the most elite national tournament.

Donahue also earned a sixth-place finish in Poetry and fifth place in Communication Analysis. Tubbs earned third place in Impromptu and fifth place in Poetry.
