Cody Birely named Wartburg College Homecoming King

Cody Birely has been named the Wartburg College Homecoming King.

The neuroscience and Spanish major is from Davenport. Candace Baker, a senior from Chicago, was named queen. The 10 members of the court were selected by the junior and senior classes, but all members of the student body voted on the king and queen.

The coronation ceremony followed Kastle Kapers, the student-led variety show, Thursday, Oct. 12.
